Since 1998, Genesis Family has addressed the growing needs that effect so many in our community. Unfortunately, the needs are greater than our current abilities to handle them.

Our desire is to expand the level of services we provide to include the following:

• Provide social services in the areas of housing and case management.
• Develop programing resources to be used for parents and children dealing with the issues of being a single parent family and replicated by other groups desiring to help the single parent family.
• Create a community based consortium including local professionals, organizations and businesses to network with current resources while developing additional resources for single parent families.
• Establish support groups throughout the Mecklenburg area for single parent families.
• Expand our current web site to:
      a) Provide resources for single parents
      b) Provide resources for children
      c) Provide a forum for professionals, pastors, businesses
      and individuals working with single parents and children.

All donations go directly to programming and carrying out the goals stated above.
